Charlton Environmental Conservation Committee Think Spring

Free tree and shrubs available to town residents April 28, Noon - 1pm on first come-first served. Wide variety available. Held at Town garage on Jockey St., Charlton.

Week of April 23. The Charlton Highway Department will be picking up brush from winter tree damage throughout the week.

The Saratoga County Soil and Water Conservation District

will hold a tire recycling day May 22 at the Malta Town Court area at 2538 Rte 9, Malta. In order to participate in the recycling program, you must be pre-registered by May 18. Contact SCSWCD at 518-885-6900 to obtain a registration form or request through Email.

Galway Youth Commission Spring recreational soccer program

For Pre-K through 6th grade open for registrations for May 12 - June 16 season. Soccer at Dockstader Recreation Fields Rte 147. Free to children from Galway and towns in the Galway School District who participate in Galway Youth Commission Programs. Sign up forms at the Joseph Henry Elementary School, Galway Town Hall and the Galway Library. No child will be left out due to financial hardship. A Taste of Summer - Wine Tasting

Friends of Galway Public Library are sponsoring a Wine Tasting event on Tuesday, June 5th, 7:00-9:00 pm at the Cock & Bull Restaurant. Tickets are $30 and are available at the Galway Public Library or at the door. Tickets are limited to 150 attendees, so get them soon.

 

The Enrichment Resource Center of the Galway CSD

Announces a new, innovative summer enrichment camp for 2018. The summer camps have been redesigned to allow students to experience a variety of courses. Register for more information!

Single Family Housing Repair Loans & Grants

The U.S. Dept. of Agriculture, Rural Development, is offering Single Family Housing Repair Loans & Grants. Also known as the Section 504 Home Repair program, this provides loans to very-low-income homeowners to repair, improve, or modernize their homes or provides grants to elderly very-low-income homeowners to remove health & safety hazards.
